Friday, November 21, 2008 Snow along the banks of the Woodspring this mornng. Just enough to turn the grass into a mottled, thick-flecked, white-green carpet. Beautiful. I could see my breath, huffing and puffing with each pull. Except for that, all was quiet. Sort of perfect. The idea after too many off days was to go for a half an hour just to reaquaint myself with this love of mine. Nothing fancy. Just go. Indeed, lovely. By the end my fingertips were stinging with the cold. Felt great. |
